Volt is immediately hiring for Repair Technician in Jefferson, Indiana Weekly Pay Climate Controlled Eco-Friendly As a Repair Technician, you will:Evaluates electronic assets and determines value based on physical and operational conditionPerforms data security on electronic assetsConfigures, upgrades and tests computer hardware and peripheralsInspects, classifies, diagnoses, evaluates, disassembles, and repairs computer hardwareEvaluates and identifies hardware for specific disposition (resell, repair, harvest, recycle, etc.)Upgrades products through the addition of new hardwareAdjusts, repairs, and replaces worn or defective partsEvaluates inventory on hand to determine if parts are available for upgrade and/or repairSubmits orders for parts from inventory that are needed for upgrades or submits a request for parts that are not currently in stockInstalls operating system (OS) to computer products per procedureCross trains in all areas within Operations to ensure site flexibility and contribute to the development and ongoing improvement of the Operations systems and processes This is a Full-Time opportunity.The ideal candidate will have:2+ years experience working with hardware products, preferably in a repair related fieldStrong computer literacyResults oriented, team oriented, and excellent attention to detailWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteDiagnostic and troubleshooting abilityAbility to configure, repair and/or upgrade electronic assetsAbility to identify and install PC hardware and peripheralsAbility to understand and carry out instructions furnished in various forms (written, oral or diagram)Strong written, verbal, and comprehension communication skillsPay Rate:$17.50- $18.50 *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidates education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
