Description/***** Disney Entertainment Television (DET) is seeking a Paralegal to support our internal Music team. As a Music Paralegal at DET, you will assist the music needs of the Marketing team across Disney affiliates and networks including ABC, Freeform, Onyx, and Hulu. The right person for this role is collaborative, detail-oriented, organized, and proactive. We are looking for a hardworking team player with a desire to learn, share, and grow. ? Provide administrative support and generally assist all members of the DET Music team. ? Maintain a tracking system for all music licenses from initial clearance through the distribution of fully executed licenses and payment of license fees. ? Ensure that all fully executed music licenses are properly filed in the DET filing database. ? Distribute fully executed music licenses. ? Coordinate and review music cue sheet processes across teams including quality control. ? Maintain library music usage tracker and other music databases. ? Send quarterly reports to our library partners. ? Distribute music expiration calendars across teams and notify internal stakeholders of any takedowns required. ? Draft music agreements using provided templates. ? Coordinate license information to legal and creative teams. ? Familiarize with music processes/protocols and help maintain them. ? Set up and admin music vendors database and process music payments/invoices. ? Coordinate music business affairs matters. ?
