Job DescriptionJob ***** Assembly Technician RoleJob ***** New Hudson, MIEligibility/***** US Citizenship required as this supports agovernment contract***** The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling andinstalling vehicle components and subassemblies, ensuring they meethigh-quality and safety standards. This role varies depending on thetype of vehicle being assembled (prototype vs production). Idealcandidates will have experience in manufacturing, strong mechanicalaptitude, and attention to detail.This role is an exciting opportunity for a motivated candidate tocontribute to cutting-edge projects, collaborate with a talented team,and help deliver exceptional products to our customers. Your work willdirectly support our mission to provide world-class solutions whilemaintaining the highest standards of service.KEY **-Assemble vehicle components and subassemblies according to engineeringthat each vehicle meets Pratt Millers quality standards-Perform detailed inspections to verify the accuracy and functionalityof each assembly-Work with a close-knit team of engineers, designers, fabricators, andmechanics to meet departmental goals and deadlines efficiently-Maintain detailed documentation of progress, ensuring work is clearlytracked and any issues are promptly addressed-Maintain a clean and organized work environment-Ensure work environment and processes adhere to outlined safetyregulations-Use provided personal protective equipment (PPE) as requiredREQUIRED SKILLS & *-Ability to read & interpret engineering drawings and processinstructions-Strong mechanical aptitude-Proficiency with common hand tools and equipment-Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with amultidisciplinary team-Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing world-classproducts-Dependable & punctual, with reliable mode of transportation-Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment-Ability to lift 40 lbs. and stand for extended periods-Flexibility to work overtime, including weekends if necessary to meetdeadlines.-Work **** Day Shift, 6:30 AM start, Mon-Fri, 40hr work week (overtimeas required)EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION / YEARS OF **-High School diploma or GED equivalent requiredDESIRED SKILLS & **-Prior experience in low volume, prototype level vehicle assembly orrelated manufacturing environments-Prior vehicle repair, diagnostic, and troubleshooting experience-Basic metalworking/fabrication skills-Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)-Knowledge of vehicle-related pneumatic and/or cooling systems-Knowledge of HV electrical vehicle systems-Prior experience in an ISO 9001 quality environmentArena Technical Resources, LLC, (ATR) is an Equal Opportunity Employer(EOE) who will provide equal employment opportunity to employees andapplicants for employment without regard to race, ethnicity, religion,color, sex, pregnancy, national origin, age, veteran status, ancestry,sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status,family structure, genetic information, or mental or physical disability.PDN-9f6036ff-2a31-44b4-8a1c-729e14940b7e
