Job Description Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City is hiring for an Oncology Clinic Nurse for their outpatient Gynecologic Oncology This position is part of a rapidly growing program and will assist with care coordination, research studies, provide patient and family education, scheduling, triage, assist with procedures, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary innovative care team committed to improving patient outcomes. This is a high volume fast-paced Magnet designated clinic. This clinic is INCP and QOPI Certified.HOURS: Monday - Friday 8 AM to 4:30 PM. May be asked to float to other locations: Saint Luke's South, East, and our North locations as needed We are looking for experienced nurses who are solution focused, passionate about patient education and caring for the whole patient. To be successful, you will need to be organized, team oriented, adaptable, and enjoy helping others. We are seeking compassionate nurses who possess strong relationship building skills and enjoy going above and beyond for their patients.Responsibilities:Phone TriageSchedules emergent-need appointments. Patient follow-up calls. Patient education on particular procedures and processes.Subject matter expert in respective specialty for hospital RNs in the units. Regularly meets with other disciplines to share best practices on care treatments. Care for patients with a long-term treatment process. Collaborate on a care team and provide face-to-face patient careONS Chemotherapy preferredBiotherapy Certification can be obtained within 90 days of hireThis position will assist with in office procedures Job Requirements Applicable Experience:2 yearsBasic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Registered Nurse - VariousAssociate Degree Job Details Full TimeDay (United States of America) The best place to get care.
