Job DescriptionJob DescriptionCameron-Cole is seeking a Professional Engineer to support our growing operations in California and Florida. This role requires a Professional Engineer License in Florida or California, with the ability to gain licensure in other states. Hybrid work with some in-office presence is preferred, but the role can be performed from a home office from anywhere in the United States. This role is open to full-time, part-time, on-call, or contract.With little supervision, this role will be responsible for designing, installing, and overseeing operation of environmental remediation systems, ensuring that all plans are accurately followed and adhered to Cameron-Cole guidelines and procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills to work with colleagues and clients. This role will report to a Director and is accountable to the Senior Staff.This person should have strong client relationships and project management skills, and broad experience in California and/or Florida with environment projects including contaminated site restoration subsurface investigations, and environmental permitting and compliance (air/water/waste).Essential job functions include:Excellent communication with demonstrated advanced writing skillsBuild and maintain long-term relationships with key clients by providing technical expertise, attending client meetings, and leading project developmentsManage assigned projects, including budget tracking, invoice approval, and team management, and provide high-level consultingParticipate in the proposal and budget creation processDesign and operate remediation systems in accordance with state and local requirementsWriting and preparation of reports and presentations, including tables, charts, and graphsProvide technical direction and oversight as well as mentoring and training to junior-level staffField oversight of subsurface investigations, pilot tests, and other environmental projectsCore CompetenciesContaminated site restorationRemediation design, installation, and operationEnvironmental Compliance and PermittingSpill Prevention, Control and Countermeasures (SPCC)In situ soil and groundwater treatment technologiesVapor Intrusion Mitigation Systems design, operation and maintenanceTechnical oversight and project managementAdvanced skills in project managementRequired Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering from ABET accredited universityProgressive experience with Remediation in environmental consultingRegistered Professional Engineer (PE) in CaliforniaAbility to obtain registrations in other statesOSHA HAZWOPR 40-hour (Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response)A valid Driver's LicenseCameron-Cole was established in 2001 as an independent environmental services firm and joined the ADEC Innovations group of companies in September 2021.
