Job DescriptionCome join our awesome team as an RN Nurse Manager at Rochester Rehab & Living Center!/n/nShift Details: M-F 8am-4:30pm, occasional weekends/nCompensation: $93,600- $99,840 per year (based on experience)/n*This RN Manager will oversee the Rehab unit /nJob Highlights:/n/n403(b) Retirement Plan;/nCareer scholarships;/nQuality training, continuing career education and leadership programs;/nMedical, Dental and Vision Insurance/nPaid Time Off (Vacation, Holiday & Sick Days)/n/nAbout the Job: The Nurse Manager role is to utilize the nursing process in planning and providing direct care to residents as assigned. As a leader in the organization, the Nurse Manager will be the person “in charge” according to the Nurse Practice Act./nEssentials:/n/nProvides Leadership and Direction on assigned units with all staff./nResident Care Functions which include medication, treatments and follow nursing protocols./nResponsible for holding staff accountable for correctly following policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook and nursing job descriptions./nResponsible for Staffing when the Staffing Coordinator is not present./nCharting, Documentation and Assessment Functions./n/n/nCompletes employee evaluations in a timely manner as directed./nAssists with disciplinary actions as assigned by the Director of Nursing./nCoordinates and conducts routine nursing staff meetings on assigned unit./nOn-call rotational schedule/n/n /n/n/nRequired Qualifications:/n/nCurrent license as a Registered Nurse in the state of MN/nMinimum of two (2) years of nursing experience, with a combination of long-term care dementia care or acute care. /nEffective written and oral communication skills and good interpersonal skills./nOrganizational, prioritization and time management skills./nPossess adequate strength, coordination, dexterity and endurance to meet the strenuous physical demands of such resident care responsibilities as lifting and moving patients./nAbility to utilize computers and other electronic devices for tasks such as timekeeping, in-servicing and documentation. /n/nOur 2025 Great Place to Work survey results found that 87% of employees said their work has a special meaning: this is not “just a job”./nTake pride in helping others, and join us today! /nAt VOANS, we celebrate sharing, encouraging and embracing diversity.
