This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Software Engineering organization.The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic and cohesive management team in a large, cross-functional integrated product team (IPT) developing the modeling and simulation capabilities that enable the cutting-edge capabilities going on today and tomorrow’s combat aircraft developed by the Air Dominance Division of the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization.The ideal candidate will lead the Flight Simulation | Labs (FSL) F/A-18 Shared Tools and Automated Testing software strategy and team of engineers developing frameworks and tools to support the larger FSL F/A-18 team, in an agile, collaborative environment. This team is responsible for creating and supporting the tools used by other FSL F/A-18 teams and F/A-18 Mission Systems teams, as well as the framework that allows automated, tactically representative testing of the F/A-18 mission systems. Additionally, you will serve as a business owner on the Flight Simulation | Labs F/A-18 Agile Release Train (ART). The successful candidate will need to work as part of a cohesive leadership team. Adaptability, the ability to work closely with others, and an open mind are essential attributes of the management team members.
