What Does a DSP Do?As a Direct Support Professional, you help individuals with developmental disabilities live safe, independent, and fulfilling lives.You will:Support daily routines and activitiesHelp with meals and light household tasksAssist with personal care (grooming, hygiene, dressing)Encourage social activities and community involvementProvide transportation to appointments or outingsBe a positive role model and advocateNo medical background required — just patience, reliability, and a caring attitude. No Experience? No Problem.We provide: On-the-job training Support to obtain DSP certifications CPR/First Aid training Ongoing coaching and developmentRequirements:High School Diploma or GEDAt least 21 years oldValid California Driver’s LicenseAbility to pass background screeningAbility to lift up to 50 lbsIf you’ve worked in retail, food service, childcare, customer service, or are just entering the workforce — your skills transfer here.
