Their continued growth is driven by a commitment to precision, safety, and long-term client partnerships.About the PositionThe company is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join a high-performing team focused on DOT and public infrastructure projects. This individual will play a key leadership role in managing the full lifecycle of asphalt, concrete, drainage, and pavement reclamation projects throughout the NYC area.The Project Manager will serve as the critical link between field operations and executive leadership—ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and in strict accordance with contract specifications.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate communication between office and field teams to ensure seamless project executionPartner closely with Project Superintendents and Engineers to maintain scope, schedule, and complianceCollaborate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors on scope changes and adjustmentsDevelop project-specific Maintenance & Protection of Traffic (MPT) plansPrepare and manage submittals and approval documentationTrack and document field measurements for weekly unit pricing and quantity reportingSubmit monthly payment requisitions to agencies and relevant stakeholdersManage and monitor project purchase orders in coordination with Accounts PayableSupport estimating efforts including time & material pricing and quantity takeoffsAdminister contractor and subcontractor agreementsIdentify and help secure new project opportunitiesRecommend value-engineering strategies to enhance project competitivenessMaintain detailed and confidential project documentationServe as a primary point of contact for assigned projectsThis role offers strong visibility, meaningful responsibility, and the opportunity to contribute to a well-established and growing infrastructure contractor.RequirementsProven experience managing DOT projects involving asphalt, concrete, drainage, and/or pavement reclamationBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field — or equivalent hands-on industry experienceStrong organizational and project management capabilitiesExcellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-project environmentDetail-oriented with a comprehensive understanding of project scope and contract requirementsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and industry-related softwareAdaptability and ability to learn and integrate new systems and processesBenefitsBase Salary: $150,000 – $200,000 (commensurate with experience)Performance-based bonusVehicle allowance + company gas card401(k) retirement planComprehensive health benefitsLong-term career growth with an established market leaderRelocation support may be considered for the right candidate.
