Muse at Sentry, the award-winning fine-dining restaurant located in Stevens Point, WI is looking for a Restaurant Manager to oversee the front of house operations. This role will partner with the Executive Chef in leading the restaurant team to deliver unique and detailed experiences to our guests. This role will also oversee the beverage program, including craft cocktails and wines from around the world, and manage restaurant concierge services. In addition, you'll: Direct all front-of-house operations of restaurant and special event space to ensure efficient and effective service is provided Create an inviting and memorable environment & culture reflecting the restaurant's dining concepts, including décor, service, menu, cleanliness, orderliness, and customer servicePartner with Executive Chef in development of food & beverage products, operational strategies, and associate developmentEstablish policies, service standards, objectives, and procedures that ensure guest satisfaction and profitabilityEnsure associates and facility are compliant with sanitation and safety standardsCollaborate with all internal departments to ensure the successful preparation of all Muse events, including, planning, set-up and execution of all eventsMonitor product quality and guest experience to ensure both are delivered to restaurant standardsDevelop business strategy to drive financial performanceWhat it Takes Associate Degree or equivalent work experience2+ years of related work experience with previous experience in fine dining strongly preferredExtensive background and demonstrated expertise in restaurant managementExperience as a sommelier preferredExcellent customer service and leadership skillsAbility to work effectively under time constraints and deadlinesComprehensive knowledge of food and beverage preparationCommunications, human relations and motivational skillAbility to operate in a service environment and respond effectively to customersAbility to have a flexible work schedule including working nights, weekends and possible holidaysWhat you'll Receive At Sentry, your total rewards go beyond competitive compensation.
