Here, you will make an impact by:Serve as the liaison and main contact for clients regarding strategic space planning, design, move planning, and problem-solving for complex facilities needs.Coordinate delivery of facility services including Plant Engineering, Sourcing, Vendor Services, Security, Custodial, and more.Proactively anticipate and address changing client needs across multiple departments and facilities.Lead client moves, renovations, and facility projects with minimal supervision.Manage and direct contractors, vendors, and functional/cross-functional teams.Mentor and train co-workers and new employees; act as department lead in supervisor's absence.Design workplace strategies involving multiple buildings and business units to drive more efficient space utilization.Drive metric performance for better space management outcomes.Represent the Facilities Management organization with high-demand and complex clients.Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high customer satisfaction.Communicate, apply, and help develop facilities management policies in response to evolving client and business needs.Monitor and analyze facility operational costs weekly and monthly using various systems (operations registers, shop work order reports, fixed asset reports, etc.).Develop and implement process improvements to reduce costs, boost productivity, and increase operational efficiency.Replicate best practices across Facilities teams, including Global Business Processes (GBP).Manage site access approvals, track document expirations, and field related questions.Oversee contract renewals for Maintenance, Quality, and Facilities.Act as Project Manager for CAPEX projects.Manage AV support for conference rooms.Handle Fixed Asset management, including researching book values.Administer site security programs and support SAP Plant Maintenance as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).Serve as a mentor and backup for key internal processes.Manage internal calibration programs (ECP creation and updates).Administer key and badge programs.Manage distribution of safety glasses and safety shoes.Oversee Contractor Safety procedures, including SOP updates and work permits.Manage pest control services for the site.Your Skills and Expertise  To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or higher AND (7) seven years of manufacturing, facilities coordination, management experience in a private, public, government or military environmentORHigh School Diploma/GED from AND (11) eleven years of manufacturing, facilities coordination, management experience in a private, public, government or military environmentAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Proven track record of managing facility operations, maintenance programs, and vendor relationships.Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety).Proficient with SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) or other CMMS systems.Experience with space planning, project management, and renovation/construction coordination.Solid understanding of OSHA standards and environmental, health, and safety (EHS) compliance.Experience managing facility operational budgets, cost control, and CAPEX project planning.Skilled at vendor management, contract negotiations, and service level agreements.Familiarity with site calibration programs and internal audit processes.Ability to administer site access control systems, key/badge programs, and contractor safety protocols.On-call availability for facility-related emergencies as required.Certification in project management (PMP or CAPM) or Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher).Experience supporting ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or similar quality/environmental management systems.Familiarity with energy conservation initiatives and sustainable facility operations.Knowledge of industrial hygiene standards and ergonomic workplace design.Experience using AutoCAD or space management software.Previous leadership experience mentoring junior staff or acting as interim supervisor.Strong continuous improvement mindset, with experience implementing operational process improvements.Working knowledge of emergency preparedness, business continuity, and disaster recovery planning for manufacturing facilities.Work location: Onsite-Irvine, California, United States  Travel: May include up to 10%[domestic/international]Relocation Assistance: Not authorized Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status). Supporting Your Well-being Solventum offers many programs to help you live your best life - both physically and financially.
