Experience: • 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • 10 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months. • Travel experience is preferred from any number of months. • Experience with Epic is required from any number of months. Requirements: • Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required for submission). • Local & travel allowed. Candidates living Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. Med Surg Oncology - Required Oncology experience preferred but not required Shift: D/N or Nights - 07:00 - 19:00 / 19:00 - 07:00 No set schedule No set weekend No block schedule The facility determines the complete schedule (could possibly end up working every weekend.) Must be flexible. Patient Types: Continuous cardiac monitoring related to chemotherapy administration Soft tissue malignancy receiving diagnostic services, chemotherapy and symptom management Symptom management secondary to disease related treatment or progression. Management of comorbidities Heavy focus on infection prevention protocols and patient falls Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity. Skills Required: Interpretation of dysrhythmias Accessing Ports Arterial line management Blood Product Administration Central line care/management PICC line management IV START Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal high Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC interpretation of ABGs RTO required with submission, must be built into contract Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more Current employees are ineligible to be hired as a traveler at any Ohio State University hospital location Details: • AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: Please request an interview for one match from this facility at a time.
