You will supervise a safety conscious and high performing working team. You will standardize processes that are used in a high volume steel scrap recycling operation. This job is in Sikeston, Missouri.Control the work flow, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivityProvide training for operators on company policies, safe practices, work routinesCoach and develop the team in failure analysisDevelop performance expectations, document findingsIdentify opportunities for improvement – both for safety and work volumeQualificationsExperience and practical training in steel scrap processing, recycling, shredding, machinery maintenance is preferred. Some supervisory experience is preferred.Experience in steel scrap weighing, collection and recycling techniques is preferred.Should have 5-7 years’ experience in a metals scrapyard operation.
