What this job involves: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for general and specific maintenance of the office and warehouse buildings, grounds, and building systems at a global healthcare company that provides pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and data solutions. You will serve as the primary vendor contact for maintenance and repairs while ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements. Your day-to-day tasks will include: Performing routine preventative maintenance inspections on equipment and machineryCompleting minor plumbing repairs and miscellaneous equipment repairsUsing computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for work ordersDocumenting completed maintenance tasks in CMMS and filing paperworkConducting daily housekeeping dutiesChecking email for communications from managementHandling assigned work orders and special projectsEnsuring proper storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materialsMaintaining compliance with state, county, and city regulationsParticipating in technical, safety, and operational training programsFollowing both Jones Lang LaSalle and client-directed policies and proceduresIdentifying safety hazards and proposing solutions Work Schedule: Standard shift: 8AM-4:30PMHours may change for special projects and client business needs Desired or Preferred Experience and Technical Skills: Experience in distribution/warehouse environment Required Skills and Experience: High school diploma or GEDMinimum 3 years' experience in a maintenance roleValid driver's licenseExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to understand and follow verbal instructionsPhysical capability to walk, climb, bend, kneel, lift, and stoop frequentlyAbility to climb ladders with 300-lb weight limit while carrying a 20-lb tool bagCapacity to bend, stretch, twist, and reach with body, arms, and legsStrong visual and auditory acuity to identify and diagnose problemsPIT/Forklift Certification (training will be provided and is mandatory) #MMjobs
