Willow Tree Care Center, Delta, Colorado  Business Office Manager Skilled Nursing Community  $55K - $70K  Salary  Responsible for overall functions and controls within the community business office. This position has a heavy emphasis on maximizing cash flow through efficient billing and collections processes. Responsible for keeping accurate financial records for the community, administering the community’s benefits program, supervising the front desk staff and assisting the Executive Director with certain administrative duties. Knowledge of Assisted Living regulatory and compliance requirements. Working knowledge of personal computer and software applications used in job functions, (word processing, graphics, databases, spreadsheets, payroll and benefits administration and others.) Minimum of Associates degree in business or accounting.  Additional relevant experience may be substituted for advanced education.  Prefer Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Accounting.   Previous supervisory experience (at least one year), benefits and billing administration experience is highly preferred.   Responsible for processing all monthly resident billing in a timely and accurate manner. This may include processing problem accounts.  Making collection calls, as necessary. Receiving cash receipts, deposits and recording all revenue transactions received by the community. Processes or manages all accounts payable including the review of vendor invoices for accuracy and timely processing of payments to vendors. Balances monthly financial records and completes month-end closing of A/P and A/R on a timely basis. Review’s payroll information for accuracy.  Acts as liaison between department managers, Executive Director and corporate office regarding payroll matters.  Serves as direct contact for corporate office for questions related to new hires, pay, terminations, etc.  Responsible for ensuring that department managers are processing their paperwork in a timely manner. Participates in the development of the departmental budget.  Provides relevant financial information to Executive Director regarding department financial needs and status.
