Job Description

An established Nursing Home in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a Human Resources Staffer to join its team. Responsibilities: Serve as the primary link between the payroll department and the organization, ensuring prompt and accurate handling of timesheets and payroll concerns. Oversee all employee benefit processes by coordinating with the payroll department and benefits administrator. Maintain compliance with relevant state and federal regulations for new hires, including timekeeping setup, background checks, reference verifications, and professional license confirmations. Manage recruitment efforts by identifying staffing needs, screening applicants, and conducting interviews. Participate in facility leadership or management meetings as needed. Support overall departmental goals through various collaborative tasks. Perform any other duties reasonably assigned by a supervisor. Qualifications: Previous experience in a human resources or staffing environment. Formal education or background in HR is strongly preferred. Knowledge of key HR policies and procedures. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills. Compensation:  $70,000/year plus our generous benefits package!
