Just a short drive to Shawano. Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Technician At Charter Aarrowcast, our maintenance team is the backbone of our operation, keeping everything running smoothly. They tackle a variety of challenges, from installing and maintaining equipment to troubleshooting complex problems and executing preventive maintenance plans.  They think fast on their feet, are self-directed problem-solvers, and collaborate effectively to ensure minimal downtime.  Here, you'll wear many hats, play a vital role in maximizing uptime, and never get bored!   Weekly Schedule:   On our weekend shift, you will only work 3 days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday on our 12 hour shift.Why you’ll love it here Pay: You will work 36 hours and get paid for 40! Nights and day shift available. 12 hour shifts 7pm - 7am or 7am-7pm What you will do As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll help keep the plant running smoothly by installing, maintaining, and repairing electromechanical systems. You’ll work under the Maintenance Supervisor and follow safety and quality standards to reduce downtime and boost productivity.Maintenance & Repairs:Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipmentTroubleshoot and fix mechanical and electrical issuesWork with hydraulic systemsInventory & Safety:Keep track of parts and toolsCheck that parts meet required specsMake sure all equipment is safe to useDocumentation & Cleanliness:Fill out maintenance records and reportsKeep your work area cleanFollow safety, environmental, and quality proceduresTeamwork & Improvement:Help train new techniciansJoin teams to improve processes and reduce costsWeekly plant shutdown begins Fridays at 6:00 AM and ends Mondays at 6:00 AM.What you'll need: Education & ExperienceTechnical degree in a related field, a journeyman’s card, or 5+ years of experience in industrial electrical/mechanical maintenanceTechnical SkillsRead and interpret technical documentsUse electrical/mechanical testing and precision measuring toolsOperate hand and power toolsStrong troubleshooting skillsExperience with welding and torch equipmentCommunicationClear, effective communication with a focus on teamwork and customer servicePreferred QualificationsExperience with Allen Bradley or Siemens PLCs and DrivesSkilled in AC/DC motor maintenance, hydraulics, and pneumaticsIndustry certifications are a plusPhysical RequirementsFrequently stand and walk; occasionally sit, bend, and lift up to 60 lbsAble to meet physical demands with or without reasonable accommodationClear, effective communication with a focus on teamwork and customer service#LI-Onsite#LI-ME1
