Our mission has always been to provide our customers with the highest quality waste, recycling and environmental services, while keeping focus on employees, customer and environmental safety.  What makes our company culture unique is we have mastered the ability to balance the standards of a large corporate company while maintaining our small business family style culture.  Essential Job Summary:: The Safety Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that on-site facility and route activities are compliant with safety, transportation and environmental policies and regulations. Safety Supervisors will report to the Market Area Safety Manager/Director. Other minor duties may be assigned.: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  Other minor duties may be assigned.  Promote and follow safety policies; lead by example to support a strong safety culturePerform safety observations and assessments to ensure all safety practices, programs, record keeping, and other related activities are followed and performed to company, customer and regulatory standards; correct unsafe practices before work continuesConduct site audits to ensure safe, compliant operations; follow up on corrective actionsLead or participate in safety stand-downs and meetings as neededEnsure workers have access and are using proper PPE; carry extra supplies for field needsInvestigate incidents and prepare written reportsAssist with injury care and managementParticipate or lead Incident Review Team meetings; identify root causes and make recommendations for corrective actionsProvide safety, transportation, and SOP training as neededMonitor and manage training records with corporate support; ensure employee complianceEnsure safety signage and warnings are clear, legible, and properly posted. Salary Range Minimum: USD $75,000.00/Yr. Salary Range Maximum: USD $95,000.00/Yr.
