Job Duties – What You"ll DoOperate various commercial refuse trucks safely and efficiently:Automated Side Load (ASL)Front Load (FL)Roll-Off (RO)Collect waste from residential and commercial customers on assigned routesUse onboard computer system to track and verify service completionRead and follow route sheets or GPS routing provided by dispatcherLoad and secure trash bins or containers, ensuring proper placement for lifting armsUse hydraulic controls to lift and empty containers into truck hopperSafely maneuver truck through narrow streets, alleys, and congested areasExit cab as needed to reposition bins, clean up spills, or secure areasPerform daily pre- and post-trip inspections on vehicle and report any maintenance needsRefuel and maintain truck cleanliness, inside and outMonitor container conditions and report damage, overages, or unsafe conditionsWork independently while maintaining courteous, professional serviceComply with all company, local, state, and federal safety regulations and policies✠Job Requirements – What You"ll NeedValid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with air brake endorsement – RequiredClean motor vehicle record (MVR)Ability to lift and move up to 50+ lbs repeatedlyComfortable working in all weather conditionsAbility to climb in and out of truck cab multiple times per dayFamiliar with basic vehicle inspection, fueling, and preventative maintenanceStrong sense of safety, responsibility, and customer serviceMust be able to read, write, and speak EnglishMust pass:DOT drug screeningCriminal background checkMotor vehicle record screening?
