Responsibilities: MV Transportation is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager - Maintenance, who observes, inspects, evaluates and reports to the Director of Maintenance on the safe and efficient maintenance of the fleet and facilities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Ensure policies and procedures are followed throughout the divisionReviewing daily work production from maintenance superintendents and other maintenance personnelDevelops policy and procedures that ensure compliance with all company and client SOP’sTrack and analyze road calls, comebacks, rework of mechanics as well as related processesAdvise of any deficiencies and actions necessary to remedy those deficiencies in follow up with division management teamReviews deficiencies with management team to ensure corrective action and or trainingMeets with Director of Maintenance daily to discuss issues leading to poor performanceEnsure information related to any changes in policy or procedures within the divisionEnsure all administrative tasks are handled as required or assignedProvide support to Directors and/or Managers as requestedSpot check electronic vehicle inspection processConducts various division specific audits and assist during corporate generated auditsPerform other duties as assigned Qualifications: Talent Requirements:High School diploma / two (2) year technical degree preferredMinimum 10 years public transit Maintenance and management experienceAbility to formulate and implement short and long range operating plansAbility to inspect and evaluate all aspects of the maintenance programAbility to inspect and evaluate all aspects of vehicle operations and safetyAnalytical skills sufficient to accurately identify, evaluate and resolve operating processes both effective and ineffectiveAbility to communicate positive win-win solutions to all levels of the organizationFamiliar with federal, state and local regulationsFamiliar with industry standards for public transit Operations and MaintenanceFamiliar with the contract and client standards for Operations and Maintenance of serviceFamiliar with company policies and proceduresExcellent organization skillsExcellent attention to detail skillsExcellent written and verbal skillsAbility to successfully supervise subordinatesUnderstands the financial aspects of a multi-facetted public transit Operations and Maintenance Quality Assurance program and the impact on the overall value of the product to the client Starting salary range: $75,000 - $81,000 MV Transportation is committed to as policy of Equal Employment Opportunity and will not discriminate against an applicant or employee on the basis of race, color, religion, creed, national origin or ancestry, sex, physical or mental disability, veteran or military status, genetic information or any other legally recognized protected basis under federal, state or local laws, regulations or ordinances.
