Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Experience: • 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months. • 6 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months. Requirements: • Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license (required for submission). • This role will require floating to multiple units • Local & travel allowed. Additional Details: Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Floating Requirement: Will float to other Med Surg units. Minimum 1 year required. Must be 1 year from an acute care facility. 2 Years Med/Surg Experience Preference. Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics Patient Diagnoses: Cat bites, GI bleeds, cellulitis, COVID, TB, pneumonia, diabetes, ETOH, drug overdose, dementia- catch all general MS unit. Orientation Hours: 18 Please indicate if candidate has worked at Mercy previously. RTO – 10 days or less (outside of holidays), requires facility approval Background Policy to be noted prior to submission so we can seek approval prior to offer.
