The color specialists are responsible for the production and certification of small-scale, custom color orders, hazmat products and other critical processes. These batches require qualification methods, data entry and reworking formulas to achieve an accurate color. Hazmat production requires following specific safety procedures and data entry. Manage custom color and small batch orders working with Supervisor to ensure on time delivery. Operate and maintain production equipment used for the manufacture and packaging of floor coating materials. Follow assigned production schedule, including processing of batch tickets while maintaining a high level of product quality. Responsible for documentation on batch tickets and submitting all batch tickets. Perform assembly and packaging duties in accordance with written product specifications and company SOP’s. Perform in-process and finished inspections; includes visual and functional verifications along with required written documentation. Records inspection results and completes appropriate documentation for nonconforming products/materials Supports Quality team with researching non-conforming material and customer complaints. Supports R&D and Engineering with transition to production of new product by completing pilot, quality, and color studies. Ability to package/produce all liquid production materials and adjust color using the iColor equipment. Follow all Environmental, Hazard and Safety regulations and guidelines, including active participation in safety programs. Perform and participate in general housekeeping activities.
