Overview: Interstate Waste Services is looking for a Full- Time CDL Class A or B Garbage Truck Drivers out of their Danbury, CT location.Full-Time Monday thru Friday. Start time: 4am - 5am. Our drivers average about 55-60 hours a week. Overtime pay after 40 hours in a work week.Full Union- paid amazing benefit package. Pay Rate: $22 - $24 per hour. Essential Job Functions: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.: Assist in planning route to ensure most economical use of time and equipmentPerform all duties in accordance with appropriate safety and security standardsPerform daily Pre & Post-Trip inspections of your vehicleMaintain cleanliness of vehicle.
