Job DescriptionThe Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining and improving site grounds. Assigned work such as mowing, trimming, leaf removal and duties related to inclement weather, such as snow removal, which may fluctuate by season. COMPENSATION: The hourly rate for this position is $18.00 to $21.00. Planting, trimming, pruning trees and shrubs, and cultivating flowerbeds. Raking leaves, removing litter and debris, and clearing snow and ice from walkways and parking lots. Skill in operating and maintaining various landscaping equipment safely and effectively. Performs tasks such as planting, mowing, weeding, fertilizing, sweeping, raking, salting, shoveling snow, removing ice, etcMay be required to operate trucks, tractors and attachments used to maintain grounds as neededResponsible for cleaning and upkeep of sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, etcPerforms regular maintenance and minor repairs on lawn equipment and toolsOperates various types of equipment including power mowers, saws, weed eaters, hedge trimmers, sprayers, performing preventive maintenance and minor repairs on groundskeeping equipment, such as changing blades on mowers, greasing equipment, or troubleshooting issues with various tools and vehicles like tractors and weed-eaters.
