Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Experience: • 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 22 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience. • Experience with Pyxis is required from any number of months. • Experience with Epic is required from any number of months. Requirements: • Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required for submission). • Local & travel allowed. Candidates living • Flu vaccination required after submission. Additional Details: RN Med Surg/Tele (Surgical with Burn) Unit Details: • Beds: 22 (16 rooms) Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program. References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. Types of Patients on Unit: Patient Population: Adults & Geriatrics Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: • Common Diagnoses: Burns, plastic/reconstructive surgery (flaps, grafts, leech therapy), urology, GYN, ENT, oral/maxillofacial surgeries. • Special Procedures: Burn dressings, flap checks, leech therapy. • Support Services Available: IV/pharmacy, respiratory, PT, social work, transport, rapid response. Shift & Scheduling: • Every other/third weekend coverage required Floating Requirements: Floating within OSU required Preferred Skills/Experience: • Previous charge RN experience preferred • Teaching hospital experience preferred Types of Patients on Unit: Adults, Geriatrics Equipment Used on Unit: NG/Dobhoffs Previous Employment Requirements: Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more Details: • AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: Please request an interview for one match from this facility at a time.
