Job Description

The General Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep and functionality of buildings, equipment, and systems. This role involves routine inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems.Key Responsibilities: Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on facilities and equipment. Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders. Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and inventory. Assist with facility upgrades, renovations, and installations. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively. Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas. Collaborate with vendors and contractors as needed. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications preferred. 1+ years of experience in general maintenance or a related field. Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Work Environment: May involve working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
