Introduce foundational Spanish language skills including listening, speaking, and basic reading and writing. Use songs, stories, games, visual aids, and movement to create a fun and effective learning environment. Foster an inclusive, nurturing classroom culture that promotes student participation and respect for diverse cultures. Monitor and assess student progress through observation, informal assessments, and feedback. Collaborate with classroom teachers and specialists to align language instruction with overall curriculum goals. Communicate regularly with families about student progress and classroom experiences. Maintain a well-organized, child-friendly learning space that reflects the school’s mission and values. Participate in school events, professional development, and team planning. What We Are Looking For Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Spanish, Education, or related field. Valid teaching certification (preferred). Previous experience teaching Spanish to early childhood or elementary students is preferred. Proficiency in Spanish and knowledge of Spanish-speaking cultures. Enthusiasm for early language instruction and creative teaching approaches. Strong communication and classroom management skills. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and families. Commitment to creating a culturally responsive and inclusive learning environment.   To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
