Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Experience: • 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 10 months of Pediatric Medical Surgical Unit experience. • Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months. • Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred from any number of months Requirements: • Candidates must have a California license (required for submission). • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Local & travel allowed. Candidates living • Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted. • 6 months between Staff at Program: Aya Program - Providence Health & Services Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Additional Details: All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years Required Skills/Experience: Skills: IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Feedings (bottle, breast, gavage), Hyperbilirubinemia, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, and Isolation Precautions, Pediatric MedSurg. Preferred Skills/Experience: Skills: Monitoring chemotherapy (does not initiate), and Monitoring chemo pts. Required Credentials: Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past. ID: Drivers License/State ID, Government-Issued Photo ID card. Cert: BLS, PALS - Must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or “Heart&Stroke” certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation Only, NRP - AAP, AHA or Canadian Paediatric Society (CPS). Floating Requirements: Candidates will float within hospital or to an affiliate hospitals near by.
