Shift: 7:30 AM - 8:00 PM Experience: • 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience within the past 3 years. • 3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months. • 3 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months. • 1 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required from any number of months • BSN completion required Requirements: • Candidates must have a New York license (required for submission). • This role will require floating to multiple units • Local & travel allowed. • COVID vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted. • Flu vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted. • 12 months between Staff at Facility: Weill Cornell Medical Center Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Additional Details: Float experience does not count towards the unit experience requirement. Must be able to start within 3 weeks of requested start date. ASAP start dates are required to start within 6 weeks. For units that auto offer : A maximum of 5 days RTO and no holidays will be approved automatically. RTO over 5 days and holiday requests will have to be reviewed by the facility, which will delay the process. Shift & Scheduling: Call requirement: None Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Total # of Hours Per Week: Cornell requires 40.25; rotating 3-4-3-4 schedule 5 days maximum time off.
