You’ll manage ATO documentation, perform system audits, conduct vulnerability scans, and support engineers and local users with system administration tasks. You will work closely with U.S. Government IWS6 customers to support secure classified programs, maintain continuity of operations, and ensure mission readiness.Primary ResponsibilitiesAdminister Windows and Linux systemsBuild/maintain Linux/Windows workstations and servers to DoD STIG standardsConfigure switches and firewalls; perform basic network troubleshootingConduct vulnerability assessments (SCAP, ACAS/Nessus, DISA STIGs)Perform periodic maintenance including OS patching and virus definition updatesSupport ticket requests, user account management, password resets, and account unlocksResolve file-level permission issues across Linux and Windows environmentsMaintain system security and recovery processes in accordance with RMF and DoD policiesInstall hardware and software as requiredBasic QualificationsActive DoD Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top SecretBachelor’s degree in Information Security, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, IT/Network Administration (or 4–8 years direct experience in lieu of degree)Current DoD 8570.01 IAM II certification (Security+ w/ CE) or ability to obtain within 6 monthsWorking knowledge of Windows and Linux systems; 4+ years Linux administration experienceExperience administering Linux in a Windows domain environment1–3 years configuring switches and firewalls (Cisco experience strongly preferred)Experience with RMF, NIST, CNSS, DSS, and DoD cybersecurity directivesStrong customer service skills; ability to independently prioritize multiple tasksMust be willing to pursue CISSP and RHCSA within first year of employmentSecurity+ and Linux certification (Red Hat or Linux+)We’re not looking for perfectly polished resumes or perfect fits.
