Quality Management Nurse / RN Location: On-site in Brooklyn, NY Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Salary: $110,000 annually Overview We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Management Registered Nurse to join our Quality Management Department. The Quality Management Nurse plays a key role in ensuring regulatory compliance, promoting clinical excellence, and driving continuous performance improvement across our home health programs. The ideal Quality Management Nurse candidate demonstrates strong analytical skills, sound clinical judgment, and a commitment to advancing patient care quality and regulatory integrity. Key Responsibilities Support quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives within the organization. Prepare and review appeals, track grievances, and conduct patient satisfaction analyses. Perform ongoing audits and competency evaluations to ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify trends, implement corrective action plans, and enhance clinical outcomes. Participate in survey readiness activities and assist in responses to regulatory audits or corrective action requests. Preferred Experience – Quality Management Nurse (CHHA) Comprehensive knowledge of CHHA regulations and applicable federal, state, and Department of Health (DOH) requirements. Strong understanding of Medicare Conditions of Participation (CoPs) for home health, including documentation, visit frequency, and billing compliance. Experience conducting clinical record reviews for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory standards. Familiarity with OASIS data collection, quality reporting, and reimbursement processes. Demonstrated ability to analyze quality metrics, identify performance trends, and drive quality improvement initiatives. Hands-on experience with survey readiness, audits, and interactions with regulatory agencies such as OMIG, CMS, or DOH. Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to partner effectively across clinical, administrative, and operational teams. Proficiency in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, preferably HCHB or similar platforms. Qualifications Active New York State RN license  Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in home health quality management or compliance.
