Job Summary:The Site Supervisor is the site level Andy Frain Services representative responsible for day-to-day air cargo screening operations and compliance. They are responsible for managing and supporting a team of up to 12 screeners as well as perform air cargo screening, OJT, operational testing, and administrative auditing. The Site Supervisor is responsible for ensuring front line cargo screeners are properly trained, adhere to client specific site requirements, regularly tested for proficiency and compliant with TSA air cargo screening regulations. The Site Supervisor is required to actively monitor and provide air cargo screening services inside an operational cargo warehouse.This position requires the successful completion of initial and ongoing training as well as the ability to remain current on all TSA air cargo screening procedures. Working knowledge and understanding of the air cargo industry, to include regulatory compliance and air cargo screening operations is preferred or candidate must be willing to train. Job Specific Considerations: Candidates must be able and willing to work in a cargo warehouse with fluctuations in temperature and other working conditions. Candidates must be able to study and learn complex security compliance programs and be able to conduct training, identify non-compliance and initiate corrective actions. Candidates must be able to train and become proficient on screening technologies which include X-ray, Explosive Trace Detection and Physical Search methodologies. Must be willing to work in close coordination with Explosive Detection K9 and K9 handler Primary Responsibilities: Successfully complete all training requirements to become a certified air cargo screener and screening supervisor. This includes Physical Search, Explosive Trace Detection and X-ray technology. Screen air cargo in accordance with TSA security programs. Supervise and ensure that cargo screeners adhere to all TSA cargo screening protocols and regulations. Identify non-compliance in routine screening activity performed by cargo screeners. Investigate non-compliance and coordinate corrective action with operations management. Conduct discreet and covert testing of screening staff using simulated IED's. Track and monitor results and implement remedial training or other corrective actions as needed. Track and evaluate pertinent data such as alarms, equipment verification and calibration, operational testing and other metrics.Deliver OJT to new hires upon their completion of initial training. Maintain current and ongoing proficiency and knowledge of all relevant TSA Air Cargo Security Programs. Provide alarm resolution for K-9, ETD and X-ray alarms. Perform a weekly audit and review of training records and required log books. Provide reports to management. Perform weekly screening technology maintenance and ensure screening equipment is calibrated and operating properly Conduct briefings for screening staff as needed.
