The Maintenance Technician will provide painting and carpentry services therefore must be able to patch and paint as well as perform the repair, maintenance, restoration, and replacement of various component of the physical structure, carpet, tile, doors, etc. of and within the buildings. What your day-to-day will look like:Experience with drywall, patch, priming and painting building interior and exterior surfacesMaintain and repair locks, locking mechanisms, closers, doors, controllersPerform general “Handyman” tasks to maintain buildings, signs, and provide building maintenance, repair and restorative requests as directedAssist the module team with maintenance, repair or support as neededGeneral office maintenance: hang pictures, repair office furniture systems, assembly of cabinets, fixtures, etc.Completes special tasks that include painting, locksmith work, client services requests, special cleaning, and general maintenance as assignedMoves office furniture, machinery, equipment and other materials as requestedAssists other operational staff members in repair and maintenance of building equipmentComplies with policies for the safe storage, usage and disposal of hazardous materialsMaintains a clean and safe work environmentMaintains records for work completed in a neat and organized mannerPerforms other duties as assignedMust be able to document all work completed on electronic documentsRequired Qualifications:High school diploma or GEDComfortable with computer systems and learning new systemsMinimum of 2 years related experienceAbility to lift at least 50 lbs. and use ladders up to 26'Ability to operate or learn to operate a liftGood Driving Record and ability to drive a golf cart as well as lift truckStrong interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate well in both oral and written reportsAble to work in a customer service environment interacting with the clientAble to stay on task and work independentlyPreferred Qualifications:EPA Section 608 certification for refrigerant handlingExperience with building automation systems (BAS) and energy management systemsOSHA 10 or 30-hour safety certificationPrevious experience in commercial building maintenance or property management Location: Thousand Oaks, CAEstimated compensation for this position:46,000.00 – 56,000.00 USD per yearThis range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ.
