Responsibilities: Location: Piedmont Atlanta HospitalDepartment: EP LabSchedule: Full Time Day Shift RESPONSIBLE FOR: Assisting the physician in performance of invasive electrophysiology procedures. Has basic knowledge of EP Lab equipment and the maintenance of it while administering direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures. Provides direct and indirect care during established procedures and sedation for patients. Qualifications: MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), EP program graduate, Respiratory Therapist, Exercise Physiology, Paramedic, or Radiology Technologist.MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:1 year EP, Healthcare Imaging, Exercise Physiology, Paramedic, Respiratory, or RN experience. No experience required if a graduate of a RCIS or EP program.MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:Based on healthcare experience (see above) applicable license required.
