About the JobAbout the Job The Senior Manager, Merchandise Corporate Planning and Analytics is responsible for leading the development of data-driven analysis around Merchandise performance, corporate initiative forecasting and measurement, competitive and market growth/changes along with extensive ad-hoc modeling and advanced automation workflows. This position requires strong leadership, communication, analytical, and business acumen skills to effectively influence decisions and make impactful recommendations. Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with teams across the enterprise including Merch Planning & Allocation (MP&A), Buying, Pricing, Space Planning, Finance, Supply Chain, Store Operations, Digital, Customer Experience, Marketing, Information Systems (IS) and more to measure performance of initiatives and make recommendations.Identify risks and opportunities, analyze impacts, and provide recommendations as part of supporting long-range planning, annual financial targets, board meetings, forecast reviews, and various projects.Lead merchandising weekly business review meetings and monthly forecast review meetings including guidance on content, dissemination of standard views and templates, and reviewing and providing feedback prior to and after the meetings.Collaborate with IS teams across applications, data delivery, and systems to produce and rollout solutions.Integrate all processes and systems to fully optimize plan accuracy, efficiency, space utilization, and inventory productivity. Actively create and lead special projects that drive growth opportunities.Accountable for team development to include recruiting, training, and succession planning.
