Join GSF and grow your career with a global food industry leader. ABOUT THE ROLEWe’re seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to support day-to-day operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial food production equipment. This role plays a vital part in ensuring that equipment remains operational, safe, and compliant to support high-speed packaging and processing functions. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance Install, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment and support systemsRespond quickly to breakdowns and equipment failuresPerform repairs using power tools, welding equipment, test meters, and hand toolsWork with PLCs, motor circuits, pneumatic/hydraulic systems, and electrical controlsDismantle, inspect, and replace parts on packaging lines, conveyors, and pumps Preventative Maintenance & Safety Compliance Execute preventive maintenance per schedule using schematics, blueprints, or technical manualsMaintain detailed records of repairs and completed work ordersAdhere to OSHA safety guidelines, Lockout/Tagout, and all GSF food safety protocolsAssist fellow mechanics with heavy equipment or complex repairsMaintain a clean, safe, and organized maintenance shop WHAT YOU’LL NEEDHigh school diploma or GED.Must possess previous experience and/or technical training in one or all of the following areas:PLC, electrical controls and motor circuitsMechanicalMachinistHydraulic/pneumatic systemsRefrigerationCutting torches, TIG and stick weldingAbility to lift up to 75lbs. and work in hot, wet, noisy environmentsAbility to read electrical diagrams, blueprints, and technical drawingsStrong problem-solving, mechanical aptitude, and communication skills PAY & BENEFITS Pay Range: $30.47 - $33.87WHAT YOU’LL GET  People First: At GSF, we're not just a company; we're a dynamic community where your talents are celebrated, and your ambitions are nurtured.
