We hope you will join our diverse team of top people – you bring your talent, and we’ll give you the space and opportunities to grow and succeed.  We are committed to make a difference. What we offer: Competitive Starting Pay Paid Training Global Advancement Opportunities Company Vehicle (as applicable) Referral Bonuses Comprehensive Benefits Medical/Dental/Vision insurance Health Savings Account (HAS) Life Insurance 401(k) savings plan with company match Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Employee Assistance Program Wellness Program And More!  How you will do it Responsible for meeting customer expectations while performing quality inspections Accurately discern and document deficiencies found during an inspection Professionally represent the company at all times Complete Service Acknowledgement/inspections with proper coding through communicating devices, such as laptop computers, smartphones, and/or hardcopy Follow and maintain a highly structured inspection schedule Make minor repairs and programming changes to systems being inspected. Complete assigned inspections on time Perform other duties as directed Assist foreman in the installation of wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge sprinkler systems Perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment Be enrolled in Grinnell's approved Apprenticeship Program, maintaining all requirements of the Apprenticeship Standards Have a positive attitude and the ability to learn quickly  What we look for RequiredHigh School Diploma or Equivalent Possess a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements. Ability to obtain NICET I certification within 8 months of hire. Ability to obtain NICET II certification within 24 months of hire. Able to obtain and retain any licenses that are required by National, State and Local codes. Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, programs schematics and operational/product manuals. Experience with hand tools and multi-meter usage. Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 70 lbs. Able and willing to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc. Able and willing to work flexible hours including on-call rotation, nights, and weekends to meet customer requirements. Willing and able to travel out of town. Demonstrate a high level of customer service. Must always adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures. Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly. Able to pass a pre-employment background and drug test. PreferredNICET I certification, completed HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $15 - $19 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)  This position includes a competitive benefits package.
