Job DescriptionAramark is currently seeking an Accounting Operations Manager to support Allstate Arena! As the Accounting Operations Manager you will support the objectives of the accounting department while assisting operating departments with forecasting, budget, labor and inventory controls, analysis, auditing as well as operational responsibilities for the units you are supporting. COMPENSATION: The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $90,000. For jobs in San Francisco, this includes the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance.Job ResponsibilitiesFinancial planning and analysis: create annual forecast/budget by location, create weekly/monthly/annual financial reportsCoordination of general accounting functionsJournal entry postingControl of subsidiary ledgersBalancing of all accounts on a monthly basisSales / Bank account reconciliationPost & allocate receipts accurately and in a timely mannerHighly collaborative with leadership and communicate key levers to improve marginsMaintain all financial records and reports in adherence with Aramark?s Business Conduct Policy and all local, state, and federal regulations and codes Highly collaborative with leadership and communicate key levers to improve marginsTrain and develop operations teams on financial acumen and policies with oversite of weekly/monthly financial dataAccountable for Cash Flow, Cash/Banking, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Capital Expenditures and Repair & Maintenance funds.Accurately supervising customer accounts on a regular basis to ensure the company?s credit control policies and procedures are adhered toProcessing of weekly accounts payable and work with suppliers to reconcile accounts Note: Due to the nature of the business additional duties may be assigned from time to time.QualificationsTechnical Knowledge and key attributes -3 years? experience in service industry combined with a system driven approach to credit controlBachelors Degree or equivalent experience in FinanceMust have very strong knowledge of ExcelExperience with Oracle System is a plusStrong interpersonal and communication skillsMust be self-motivatedMust have flexible availability to support the event schedule including evenings, weekends, and potentially holidaysEducationAbout AramarkOur MissionRooted in service and united by our purpose, we strive to do great things for each other, our partners, our communities, and our planet.At Aramark, we believe that every employee should enjoy equal employment opportunity and be free to participate in all aspects of the company.
