Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in global propulsion systems, is seeking a Controls Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Controls Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting manufacturing and control systems projects. Job Title: Controls Engineer Location: Buffalo, NY Pay Range: $45 - $47 per hour PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU MUST BE OPEN TO WORK ANY SHIFT + 20% travel is expected (approx 6 times per year). What's the Job? Engineer and design pneumatic piping diagrams to support manufacturing processes. Engineer and design electrical wiring diagrams for control systems. Design hydraulic piping diagrams to ensure efficient system operation. Create electrical control panels to meet project specifications. Develop programmable logic controller (PLC) software and human-machine interface (HMI) software for automation systems. What's Needed? Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Bachelor’s Degree preferred. 5-7 years of experience working on manufacturing plant floors with control systems. Proficiency with application of programmable machine controls hardware and software. Experience with AutoCAD and basic electrical standards. Ability to work onsite five days a week, with flexibility for occasional travel up to 20%. What's in it for me?
