Our client, an industry leader in Aerospace Manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join their team. As a Quality Engineer, you will support the quality assurance processes across key aerospace projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to quality management, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Quality Engineer Location:Charleston, SC Pay Range:$100,000 - $120,000+ DOE plus Benefits What's the Job? Manage and oversee quality processes across aerospace programs from contract receipt to project completion. Participate in audits, develop quality plans, and monitor their execution to ensure compliance. Lead and manage quality initiatives within aero-structure projects, ensuring adherence to standards. Conduct internal quality audits to verify compliance with customer and company requirements, and prepare for external audits. Ensure the organization consistently meets customer expectations and regulatory standards. What's Needed? Degree in Mechanical or Materials Engineering. At least 3 years of experience in Quality Control or Manufacturing Engineering, preferably within aerospace or regulated industries. Knowledge of composite materials is an advantage. Familiarity with aviation standards such as AS9100 is beneficial. Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and the ability to lead cross-organizational processes. What's in it for me?
