Job Summary:As a Receiving Clerk, you will effectively and efficiently complete receiving processes, to include verification of receiving documents, proper data entry of product being received and effective document management. As a receiving clerk, you will communicate with inbound drivers to ensureKey Responsibilities:Communicate with inbound driversVerify documentation for product received, Bills of Lading, and receiving documentation (Warehouse receiving documents, purchase orders, date codes, pallet verification report, and receiving exception report)Notify Supervisor of major discrepancies, before product is receivedProperly document inbound carriers in Receiving LogPost receive purchase ordersPrepare the Receiving Exception Report dailyCoordinate with receiver and unloader on priority of Dock Door assignments and driver contactAssist with collection of freight handling fees, late delivery fees, check approvals for these amounts and issue receiptsCompile end of shift receiving/inventory debriefCheck APT to ensure team members time and performance are accurateProperly document outbound trailers in shipping logPromptly report damage and all inventory discrepanciesMaintain all food safety, housekeeping, and other applicable standardsCross-train to cover Shipping Clerk functions as neededOther duties as assignedQualifications:High school diploma or GED.
