Job Title

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will plan and schedule all plant maintenance activities, including preventive, planned, and unplanned work. You will prioritize work orders, determine the best approach for completion, and analyze change parts to recommend improvements to preventive maintenance. You will ensure alignment between maintenance, accounting, and production teams, manage external vendor accountability, and initiate requisitions for maintenance and indirect purchases. Acting as a liaison between production, engineering, and maintenance, you will play a key role in driving reliability and continuous improvement.Your ImpactEnsure parts inventory supports production needs while maintaining the lowest possible levelsLead Daily Direction Setting Meetings and activitiesPrioritize and accomplish work orders accuratelyCommunicate daily with maintenance, production, accounting, and vendors to resolve issuesShare daily and weekly updates on planned and unplanned workPerform supervisor functions, including weekend rotation, absence coverage, and adherence to standard work processesCreate equipment numbers, tasks, and task numbersAdd parts to tasks in SAP and verify accurate tagging in LEDSAssist with Breakdown analysis reviews and requisition parts for work order packages and non-stocked itemsGenerate reports as needed and attend weekly departmental meetingsIdentify and develop continuous improvement projects, including reliability and cost reduction initiativesReview work order backlog and rework to determine root causes and recommend improvementsReduce inventory through standardization and develop templates for repetitive jobsCollaborate with other planners to update PMs (hour-based, functionality, recommended changes)Support other departments and project work as neededYour ExperienceHigh school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred1+ years of experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing environmentSAP or CMMS experience and formal planner training or experienceFood manufacturing experience preferredBackground in Allen-Bradley PLCs and machine repairProficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and CADStrong verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levelsSkilled in problem definition, data collection, fact analysis, and drawing valid conclusionsComfortable interpreting technical information and managing abstract and concrete variablesStrong interpersonal skills for working with diverse teamsCustomer-focused mindset with prioritization skillsWork independently and in a team environment with effective time management and flexibilityRelocation assistance is available for this position.
