Are you?About the Role:We’re looking for a Director, Pipeline Analytics on the Commercial Effectiveness team to help us expand what’s possible for patients with serious diseases. Reporting to the Senior Director, Commercial Analytics, you’ll lead the development of advanced analytics-driven insights that inform commercial strategies for pipeline assets. This role will involve commercial analytics, leveraging real-world data and advanced modeling to shape patient journey insights, segmentation, targeting, and launch optimization. You will collaborate with various cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Market Access, Sales, and Medical Affairs, to ensure that strategic decisions are grounded in data-driven evidence. This is a hands-on role where you will execute all aspects of a project, from data manipulation, analytics, through to creating a narrative and driving the company to action.What You'll Do: In this role, you’ll lead the development of advanced analytics-driven insights that inform commercial strategies for pipeline assets. You’ll also:Go-to-Market & Launch AnalyticsBuild market opportunity assessments that incorporate epidemiology, treatment flows, and payer dynamics to shape launch strategiesLead patient journey analysis (e.g., co-morbidities, diagnosis, treatment patterns, LOT Analyses, patient adherence) using APLD and real-world data to identify opportunities and barriers to adoptionDevelop robust claims data-based patient and HCP market mapsDevelop physician, institution, and patient segmentation models to guide targeting strategiesCommercial PlanningCollaborate with clinical and forecasting teams to translate patient journey insights, late-stage clinical outcomes into robust commercial forecasts with scenario planning focused on market access, competitive landscape and uptake modelsIntegrate payer landscape analyses into GTM scenarios to anticipate access hurdles and contracting impactsPartner with Field Strategy & Operations to align targeting/segmentation outputs with field force sizing, structure, call plansAdvanced Data & MethodsApply advanced analytics techniques and drive innovative use of APLD, claims, EMR, and patient-level datasets to strengthen commercial insightsCross-Functional CollaborationPartner with Marketing to shape product positioning strategies based on analytics-driven insightsWork with Market Access to model pricing, reimbursement, and payer adoption scenariosServe as the analytics subject matter expert in cross-functional teams and governance bodiesWho You Are:You have a Bachelor’s degree along with 7 years of commercial experience in pharma/biotech.You are or you also have:Extensive knowledge of pharmaceutical data (e.g., sales, specialty pharmacy, payer, promotional & marketing data, longitudinal patient-level data)Experience with commercialization of pharmaceutical productsStrong blend of technical proficiency, business acumen, and experience informing business decisions with dataDeep expertise with APLD and real-world data (e.g., claims, EMR, patient-level), including patient journey and treatment flow analysesExperience within the US market (experience with global markets beneficial)Excellent communication skills and ability to influence without authoritySolid understanding and expertise in conducting analyses with the goal of garnering actionable insightsProficient in working with distributed teams in a matrix environment, as well as the ability to work autonomouslyTechnical proficiency in analytics tools (SQL, Python, R, SAS, or similar platforms)Ability to utilize different data sets (e.g., marketing data, sales, claims, access) in building models to answer key business questionsStrong verbal and written communication skillsHighly organized with a strong attention to detail, clarity, accuracy and concisenessProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Nice to have (but not required):Degree in data science, Health Economics, Statistics, Marketing Analytics, or related quantitative fieldMBA, MS or other advanced degreeRare disease / specialty / respiratory experienceWhere You’ll Work This is a fully remote role.
