Responsibilities: Summary – Mechanic II OverviewPerform preventative and corrective maintenance on plant equipment, troubleshoot mechanical/electrical systems, reduce downtime through PM programs, and support production areas. Maintain logs, rebuild components, and collaborate with vendors to ensure safe, efficient operations. Summary - Mechanic III OverviewLead and execute preventative and reactive maintenance on production equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and utility systems. Perform machine teardowns, repairs, and upgrades; troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, and motors; weld and fabricate parts; and support installations and special projects. Provide operator coaching and ensure safe, efficient operations. Qualifications: RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED (technical training/certifications preferred)Must pass Mechanical Aptitude TestProficient in Microsoft Office; experience with CMMS or ERP systems (SAP preferred)Ability to read mechanical drawings, schematics, and OEM technical printsPhysical ability to climb, reach overhead, and lift up to 50 lbsFlexible for call-ins, shift coverage, weekends, and holidaysCommitment to safety and positive attitude in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and teamwork skills; able to work independentlyComfortable in high-speed production environments; sense of urgency required Mechanic II Additional Requirements3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment is requiredExperience with compressors, chillers, water treatment, and boilers preferredStrong knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical systems, and water processingElectrical skills: single & three-phase power, motor diagnostics/replacement Mechanic III Additional Requirements5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment is requiredStrong mechanical and electrical skills; PLC experience preferredElectrical knowledge of single & three-phase power; ability to diagnose/replace motors Salary Range Disclaimer:The salary range provided for this position is an approximation based on market research, internal compensation data and the candidate’s qualifications and experience.  Final salary offers are determined through a comprehensive evaluation of candidate qualifications and may vary depending on factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location of the position.
