Job Description

MANTECH seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Budget Analyst to join our team in Arlington, VA. This is an onsite position. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Quickly develop a deep understanding of the program’s unique financial processes and build relationships with key stakeholdersAnalyze and resolve complex business process errors and financial data inconsistenciesCreate and maintain detailed process documentation; train colleagues on solutions and workflowsReview financial policy and recommend improvements to streamline execution and communicate DoD budget and financial management regulationsExecute and manage budgets for annual and multi-year direct and reimbursable appropriationsOversee, reconcile, and track budget execution and financial dataCompile and summarize financial information for internal and external reporting and make daily financial decisions and recommend solutions to complex budgeting challengesMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (Additional 6 years of experience in lieu of degree)5 + years of experience across budget formulation, justification, execution, financial review and federal financial/accounting systems3 + years of experience using SAP financial systemsFamiliarity with DoD budget laws, regulations, and financial systemsAbility to analyze and resolve integrated financial/business process issuesPreferred Qualifications:Advanced Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business AdministrationKnowledge of Momentum Financials7 + years using federal financial/accounting systemsAdvanced Microsoft Word and Excel capabilities Clearance Requirements:Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and JAFAN 6/0 eligibilitySSBI completed within the past 6 years​Physical Requirements:Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the timeOccasionally moves throughout the office to access equipment and materialsFrequently communicates with coworkers, management, and customers; must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
