CDL A Details Schedule: Monday - Friday, 5am Start time Pay: $26 - $30 Per hour, Depending on experience, OT after 40 hours Route Type: Local, 150 mile radius, 6-10 stops per day Freight / Load Type: Hauling steel Equipment: Flatbed, Manual Transmission Handling: Must be able to throw chains and straps to secure load CDL A Minimum Requirements: License: CDL A Experience: 3+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience Endorsements: Manual Transmission Equipment Experience: Heavy Duty experience preferred, Steel industry experience preferred, Forklift experience preferred Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements CDL A Responsibilities: Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes Transport steel in accordance with DOT and company safety standards Perform required handling tasks including chaining, strapping, and forklift use Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections Maintain accurate logs and paperwork Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations Meet the physical demands of the role, including [lifting, climbing, strapping, tarping, etc., if applicable] Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off 401(k) Referral program Why Work With TransForce?
