Legal Intern Location: Paramus, NJ Work Format: Full-Time, Hybrid Coach USA, a leading provider of transportation services and mobility solutions across North America, invites motivated students to join our paid Summer 2026 Internship Program, running from May 20, 2026, through August 7, 2026. This 12-week experience connects classroom learning with real-world business operations through meaningful projects, mentorship, and professional development opportunities in a collaborative environment.Role SummaryThe Legal Intern will gain hands-on experience in corporate and transportation law while supporting Coach USA's in-house Legal Department. The role provides exposure to contract management, litigation support, compliance, and corporate governance within a fast-paced business environment.Key Responsibilities Support maintenance of the Clio Litigation and Ironclad Contract Repository systems Learn to review and summarize contracts to assist with ongoing updates Provide assistance to external counsel and the internal legal team on pending litigation matters Act as a liaison for subpoena requests from third parties and coordinate required documentation for review by the Senior Paralegal Conduct legal and regulatory research using Lexis/Nexis and other resources Support the Legal Department with elevated customer and employment matters Assist in compliance-related applications and due diligence for governmental and private client documentation Participate in the preparation and organization of corporate governance materials Skills/Qualifications Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Pre-Law, Legal Studies, Business, Political Science, or related field Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Ability to handle confidential information responsibly Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with legal research databases (Lexis/Nexis) is a plus Compensation$18.00/hr. - $23.00/hr.Work AuthorizationApplicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. Coach USA does not provide visa sponsorship for internships.Coach USA is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
