With Vituity, if you ever need to move, you can take your job with you. The OpportunityAssist Medical Director in the realms of Quality and Patient Safety.Using Vituity resources, stay up to date with CMS' evolving quality metrics and requirements and learn how to reinforce compliance within Vituity and within your local practice operations.Serve as Sepsis champion, adjust workflows, and order sets to optimize bundle compliance to meet System goal.Attend monthly PLT meetings as well as quarterly JOC meetings.Chair Emergency Department Operations Committee.Assist Medical Director with developing strong relations with Saint Agnes Medical Staff Departments on acute issues or policy optimization.Chart and case review as needed.Assist Medical Director with formulating annual goals for Operations, Finance, Patient Experience, and contract optimization by strong engagement with Saint Agnes and Trinity Health Executive leaders.Assist with recruiting physicians and advanced providers to the practice.Assist Medical Directors of both Vituity Emergency Medicine and Hospitalist Medicine to improve Integration. Required Experience and CompetenciesLicensed physician as a Medical Doctor (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school and completion of residency through an accredited residency program required.Maintain membership and privileges on Hospital’s medical staff and comply with and abide by the bylaws, rules and regulations, and the policies and procedures of Hospital’s medical staff where services are being provided required.Physician Partnership status required.Superior clinical skills to serve as role model by setting high standards preferred.Administrative experience and aptitude preferred.Interest in interpreting complex financial data and with understanding of finance and accounting as they relate to practice management preferred.Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; ability to motivate physicians and non-physicians, manage multiple assignments, work successfully with a diversity of people and locations, maintain good working relationships; Supportive team member; Ability to establish effective relationships quickly with both clients and non-clients preferred.Excellent verbal and written communication skills preferred.Excellent relationship building and process improvement skills preferred.Meeting facilitation.Excellent communication skills.Change management/Process improvement.Project management.Process improvement.Relationship building.Technology skills.  The PracticeSaint Agnes Medical Center – Fresno, California436-bed facility with a 63-bed Emergency Department.Annual volume of 90,000 with approximately 250 patients per day.TEE in the ED for critical resuscitation.All sub-specialty backup available excluding neurosurgery; Vituity scribe support available.2024 Best Regional Hospital Award recipient.Established Vituity site since 2013.SAMC supports an ACGME accredited 3-year EM residency program hosting 24 residents. The CommunityFresno, California, is a vibrant city in the heart of the Central Valley, offering a mix of urban amenities and access to natural beauty.Known for its proximity to iconic landmarks like Yosemite National Park and Sequoia National Park, Fresno provides outdoor enthusiasts with endless opportunities for hiking, camping, and exploring giant sequoias.The city is rich in culture, with attractions such as the Fresno Art Museum, Forestiere Underground Gardens, and vibrant local markets.Residents enjoy a warm Mediterranean climate, with hot summers and mild winters, perfect for year-round outdoor activities.The cost of living is affordable compared to coastal cities, and the community boasts excellent schools, local events, and a welcoming atmosphere.Fresno’s central location offers easy access to nearby cities like San Francisco and Los Angeles, making it a prime place for both work and play. Benefits & Beyond*Vituity cares about the whole you.
