We are looking for a dedicated Radiology Technologist Days like you to be a part of our team.Job Summary and QualificationsRadiology TechnologistOur imaging teams are a committed, caring group of professionals. We are currently seeking a Florida-licensed Radiology Technologist on a full-time/part-time/PRN/per diem/as-needed basis. You will take radiographs (x-rays) of patients which will assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment and perform procedures accurately and in a careful, compassionate and respectful manner.Your tasks and responsibilities as a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray Tech) include but are not limited to:Possess sound and thorough knowledge of all diagnostic radiographic procedures and related equipment including surgical, portable, trauma, general and fluoroscopic radiographic proceduresObtain high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images assuring only optimal images are submitted for interpretation utilizing appropriate lead markers as well as date and time stickers where indicatedSelect proper and accurate technical factors and techniques to accommodate patient and assist in administration of contrast mediaPrepare, transfer and position patients as needed ensuring modesty, safely utilizing auxiliary equipment and/or devicesDocument all pertinent clinical information prior to exam, obtain informed consent, and complete all required fields within MEDITECH accurately and on timeMaintain proactive and effective communication with patient and other caregiver colleagues to include the radiologistCheck the operation of the equipment, maintain cleanliness of table/equipment to prevent cross-contamination of contagious diseases and keep room stocked with linens and necessary suppliesQualifications2-year/Associate degree in Radiologic TechnologyValid ARRT certificationClear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT required to start; Temporary license is not accepted)Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationMust have trained in a hospital-based programAbility to perform work which requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 100 lbs.HCA Florida Trinity Hospital is a 340 bed hospital.
