As an HR Generalist, you will be accountable for supporting managers and employees through day‑to‑day HR operations, employee relations, payroll coordination, benefits administration, and compliance in a fast‑paced, multi‑shift environment.   Shift & Schedule Shift: 3rdHours: 9:00pm – 5:00am or 11:00pm – 7:00amWeekend Availability: Optional   Compensation Salary Range: $70,000 - $75,000   Core Accountabilities (What You’ll Be Doing)  Provide guidance on employee relations, investigations, corrective actions, and policy interpretation to ensure consistent and compliant practices. Manage HR processes including performance management, PIPs, labor planning, payroll support, benefits inquiries, and employee‑status changes. Partner with leadership to assess workforce needs, support staffing decisions, and mitigate employee‑related risks. Process payroll activities including timecard audits, final approvals, and coordination with Corporate Payroll to resolve exceptions. Maintain strong working knowledge of benefits programs and support employees with enrollment, eligibility, and inquiries. Ensure compliance with employment laws including COBRA, FMLA, CFRA, ADA, Pregnancy Leave Act, and related regulations. Support HR reporting, communication, training sessions, employee inquiries, and special projects assigned by HR leadership.   Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table) Associate’s degree required, bachelor’s degree preferred. 3–4 years of progressive HR experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Bilingual English/Spanish (required). Experience supporting a 24/7 or multi‑shift environment. Strong knowledge of employee relations, payroll processes, benefits, and employment‑law compliance. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive or high‑pressure situations professionally. Strong business acumen with proven problem‑solving, analytical, and critical‑thinking skills.   Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success) Experience with SuccessFactors or similar HRIS platforms. Understanding of full‑cycle recruiting and sourcing processes. Prior experience in food manufacturing, production, or high‑volume operational environments. Strong presentation, facilitation, conflict‑resolution, and relationship‑building skills.
